EN 17931 – New Testing Requirements for Gas Safety Equipment

The new standard requires an annual test at operating pressure. A full inspection or replacement must be considered in the event of a flashback or, at the latest, five years after commissioning, depending on heaviness of use. The date of commissioning is the key, not the date of manufacture.
